Drill: Slow: Basic Snap return

Start your snap from your shoulder. Throw your snap slowly until it finishes its contact. Then roll your elbow and rotate your forarm counterclockwise until your palm faces down. This will roll the sword,  then pull your arm back. As your elbow goes up and have the sword return covering your offside head on it's way back(the sword will be at about a 45 degree angle with the tip down, bring it over your head and back to rest on your shoulder across your back.

  • Do you mean palm moving down or turning down? Seems to me that when I try to move my palm down it screws everything up. HL Marv
